The Pithy Take

The Eviction Lab at Princeton University creates data, tools, and research to help neighbors and policymakers understand the eviction crisis. Run by researchers, students, and website architects, the team believes that a stable, affordable home is central to human flourishing and economic mobility.

Among other things, they run a dataset of evictions, which can help us see how eviction is shaping in our community. Ultimately, they hope that these findings will inform programs to prevent family homelessness, raise awareness of the centrality of housing insecurity in the lives of low-income families, and deepen our understanding of what drives poverty in America.
