The Pithy Take

There are many websites out there (several free) that are based on the famed Myers-Briggs sixteen personality types. That is, the websites ask you a slew of questions about yourself to determine things like, do you direct and receive energy via extraversion (E) or introversion (I)? Do you take in information with sensing (S) or intuition (N); and do you conclude things by thinking (T) or feeling (F)? Last, do you approach the outside world through judging (J) or perceiving (P)?

Please remember that this is not the end-all-be-all for who you are as a person. It’s just an enjoyable, illuminating activity. I’ve had fun taking these tests over the years and realized that my personality has shifted over time. They can be useful, though, in the sense that they can explain things about yourself that you may have realized but never fully articulated to yourself.
